Site’s going to look REAL ugly as I plug in some aspects of the design I’ve been working on … if you’re seeing a particularly ugly page at the moment, I apologize. It should be temporary. I recommend waiting about an hour and then whaling on the refresh button.
Update: Site’s looking better now. I’ll finish styling up the interior content section tomorrow, but I’m pretty happy with the overall frame. WordPress is pretty easy to skin, although even snagging a “blank” template proved to have WAY more style information than I’d have preferred. The one I ended up using had all kinds of colors and other information embedded in it.
I should make a “true blank” wordpress template and send it out to the community — nothing but the absolute basics. No colors, no font styling, etc. Just a few pieces of structure, and then get out of the way and let the designer do his thing.
… do themes like that already exist? Probably. Why are they so hard to find?
