The Nikon D60 showed up yesterday, with all the included parts except a camera bag (guess I’ll have to email the shop about that). Still, I got it set up last night and took a couple of test pictures. The resolution is amazing, and the optics are a definite step up from the previous camera. So that’s good. I still wish I hadn’t idiotically left that camera in a taxi cab, but that’s a mistake I’ll only make once in my life.
My friend Jamie believes that cats always make the best test-subjects for a new camera, and after coming up with this lovely shot of our three year-old cat Carbomb, I’m inclined to agree!
