For my 33rd birthday in May of 2010, my wife bought me a book on brewing beer at home. After reading it through, I decided to give it a shot, and picked up the necessary equipment and an ingredient kit for Scottish Brown Ale. The initial attempt was chaotic and the final product was only mediocre, but I enjoyed the experience and vowed to get better.
I was soon brewing with much more confidence, forming my own recipes with the help of BeerTools Pro. I have four that I’m now satisfied with, which I will be posting shortly. They are:

- HC Imperial Coffee Porter
